Women' s Clothing of the Past
In Ancient Rome, women' s clothing consisted mainly of tunics, similar to those worn by men but longer, extending down to the feet and these were of two types - the Peplos and the Chiton, which was the tunic used by the Greeks and also by the Romans. Times have indeed changed from those ancient times and women' s clothing has most certainly undergone an incredible change since those days gone by. The tunics now-a-days are low necks and much shorter with embroidery though they are just as inexpensive today as they must have been in ancient times.
